monday musing ~ earth hour 2014

We only have one Earth so let’s do everything we can to support and help in taking good care of it. Participating in Earth Hour is one of the easiest ways to show our concern to Mother Nature so let’s not pass up this chance to make a stand and take actions. After all, it only happens once a year and takes only an hour. A whole hour of good conversation or small talks over a cup of coffee under the moonlight sounds nice. Sixty minutes of brisk walk with your favorite pal or your ever reliable pet beneath a starry night is fun. A few shots for some night photography or a short piece for your flute practice are some productive ways to pass the time.

There are so many things we can do to help save and protect our planet. And we can start by just switching our lights off.

thursday thought ~ struggle and march on.

Sometimes I find myself in the middle of nowhere plagued with so many questions. Questions I don’t even know how to answer. I don’t know how to go on. I don’t know how to move forward. I am lost and I don’t know where I am in this journey. It almost always feels like I’m not going anywhere, that I’m starting all over again. Struggling to survive one day at a time, to make the best of every day.

And most of the time, I stumble upon pieces of inspirations that help me and nudge me to carry on. To not succumb to the nagging voices of hopelessness and defeat. To not wallow in self-pity and helplessness. And to just continue marching on…

tuesday tunes ~ Me by Paula Cole

And it’s me who is my enemy.
Me who beats me up.
Me who makes the monsters.
Me who strips my confidence.
And it’s me who’s too weak,
And it’s me who’s too shy to ask for the thing I love.
And it’s me who’s too weak,
And it’s me who’s too shy to ask for the thing I love.
But I love

monday musing ~ priceless and free.

Today, I found another gem from my quotable notebook and I want to share this list to you. I hope it inspires you as it inspired me to make my own list of little things, simple things that really put a smile on someone’s face and melt someone’s heart without having to spend money. Proofs that best things in life are free! 🙂
