tuesday tunes ~ Someday by Rob Thomas

You can go, you can start all over again
You could try to find a way to make another day go by
You can hide, hold all your feelings inside
You could try to carry on when all you wanna do is cry

And maybe someday we’ll figure all this out
Try to put an end to all our doubt
And try to find a way to make things better now that
Maybe someday we’ll live our lives out loud
We’ll be better off somehow, someday

– Rob Thomas, Someday

Album : Cradlesong

Another excellent singer and songwriter! I love Rob Thomas. I love how he makes music and I love how he puts that music into the world for everyone to relate to. He has an amazing voice and he sings with a heart and a soul. And this is one great positive song by him. Enjoy! 🙂

thursday thought ~ sit in silence…

image from Facebook

This is beautiful. Makes me remember someone who always instructs me to sit by his side. Not for the same reason, though, but to play and have fun with him. My adorable nephew! 🙂 But we can always provide this kind of comfort to someone who needs it the most.

wednesday’s who ~ The Half-hearted

The truth is I am confused right now. The child in me has been happy for quite some time now. But its counterpart—the more logical one or should I dare say the worrier one, the one who always looks ahead beyond what is in front of her, the one who struggles to be normal, the one who bears the responsibility of meeting society’s expectations—has been more problematic than ever. Questioning, scrutinizing, discerning. These are endless processes she keeps on repeating. Day in day out, in every opportunity she has. And with the perpetual negative responses she keeps getting, this other part has been disappointed, miserable, desperate…

tuesday tunes ~ Learning to Breathe by Switchfoot

I’m learning to breathe
I’m learning to crawl
I’m finding that You and You alone can break my fall
I’m living again, awake and alive
I’m dying to breathe in these abundant skies…

– Switchfoot, Learning to Breathe

Album : Learning to Breathe

This song is one of my personal fave from the band Switchfoot. I always listen to them whenever I need to give myself a good cry. And this particular song never fails to make my eyes wet with tears of gratitude, humility and something warm I couldn’t even give a name. So, just listen and enjoy the feeling it might rouse in you. 🙂
