…the nice French girl’s gift
Postcrossing not only introduces me to different places and culture, it also gives me the opportunity to meet nice and kind people. Those good-natured people who radiate such positive energy. Those friendly people who are not only into in swapping cards but are also genuinely conversing with and interested in other people. Being new at this, I haven’t met so many of such people. Then I had the chance to meet this nice French girl. We talked about many things even after agreeing on a swap. Hers were also my first few cards from France.
The famous Eiffel Tower
and this beautiful Palace of Versailles Fountain. Breathtaking view, right? I love it. 🙂
She also sent me a third surprise card when we agreed to swap for only two. She said I was the most polite person she talked with that day and she wanted to thank me for that. Guess I forgot to to tell her that she was the kindest person I’ve encountered in the group. 😉
The surprise card was an artwork by a French artist called Minosmoke. She admires her works. And I think Minosmoke is a great artist.
